Fluorosilicone
Primarily used for chemical and hydrocarbon fuel seals, because it provides a higher level of fuel and oil resistance than silicone materials.
Description and properties
Due to its silicone base, fluorosilicone has relatively low tear strength, abrasion resistance and tensile strength. It is therefore generally not suited to dynamic applications.
