Position Overview: We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our quality assurance system while leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production line performance in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines. You will work closely with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize the ISO-9001 quality assurance system.
  • Verify and certify that raw materials, finished products, and processes meet established quality standards.
  • Implement and lead continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Organize and manage internal and external audits, inspections, and tests to ensure compliance with quality programs, processes, and procedures.
  • Manage non-conformities, including root cause investigation, corrective action implementation, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and address complaints.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Train and raise awareness among staff about quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure a healthy and safe work environment in compliance with regulations and company values.

Desired Skills:

  • Degree in industrial engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in managing an ISO-9001 quality assurance system.
  • Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma principles (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus).
  • Experience in product inspection and using measuring tools (caliper, 10x projector, etc.).
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to mobilize and train teams.
  • Bilingual (French and English) and proficient with computer tools (Advanced Excel, ERP, etc.).
  • Rigorous, autonomous, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
